National Education and Sharing Day is a day made by the United States Congress in honor of Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneerson for his tireless devotion to extending access to education to more people, regardless of their gender or background.

National Love Our Children Day


An initiative of Love Our Children USA, National Love Our Children Day is celebrated annually on the first Saturday of every April. The day was created to acknowledge the value of children, to educate parents on the importance of giving them love, protection and respect, to strengthen families, and to raise awareness for efforts to keep children safe.

On December 8, 2005, the United Nations General Assembly declared that April 4 of each year shall be observed as the International Day for Mine Awareness and Assistance in Mine Action. "It called for continued efforts by States, with the assistance of the United Nations and relevant organizations, to foster the establishment and development of national mine-action capacities in countries where mines and explosive remnants of war constitute a serious threat to the safety, health and lives of the civilian population, or an impediment to social and economic development at the national and local levels".
