National Adoption Day


National Adoption Day is a collective national effort to raise awareness of the more than 100,000 children in foster care waiting to find permanent, loving families.

World Hello Day


World Hello Day was begun in response to the conflict between Egypt and Israel in the Fall of 1973. Participate in World Hello Day by greeting ten people, demonstrating the importance of personal communication for preserving peace.

World Television Day


In recognition of the increasing impact television has on decision-making by bringing world attention to conflicts and threats to peace and security and its potential role in sharpening the focus on other major issues, including economic and social issues, the United Nations General Assembly proclaimed November 21 as World Television Day. It is meant to celebrate television as a symbol for communication and globalization in the contemporary world.

Stuffing, filling, or dressing, is an edible substance or mixture, often a starch, used to fill a cavity in another food item while cooking. Many foods may be stuffed, including eggs, poultry, seafood, mammals, and vegetables.
