National Women's Checkup Day


National Women's Checkup Day is an observance led by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office on Women's Health to remind women across the country to schedule an appointment with their doctor. National Women's Checkup Day is the first day of National Women's Health Week, which was created to raise awareness about manageable steps women can take to improve their health and the importance of incorporating simple preventive and positive health behaviors into everyday life.

National Dance Like a Chicken Day


How to dance like a Chicken: 1. When the music starts, create a chicken beak with your hands then open and close them four times. 2. Make chicken wings with your arms then flap your wings four times. 3. Make a chicken's tail feathers with your arms and hands and wiggle downwards. 4. Clap four times while raising your feet. 5. Repeat the first 4 steps

National Underground America Day


May 14 is Underground America Day, a time to honor the 6,000 or so North Americans who make their homes not only on the Earth but in it. Underground America Day began in 1974, when architect Malcolm Wells came up with the idea.
